How does the phone say still? Velcro? Duct tape?

Wait, you're holding it? Bad Rex!

Use the CD player in the car for intro music, eh? Your voice is clear, background noise is minimal.

The semi-public one-way nature of all this is a little disconcerting, or confusing, yeah. I like the balance of making sure what's here is worthwhile, but treating it like a casual conversation with friends.

Wow, that's a zinger, Joel. And a very good curious question, one that we could have an extremely interesting discussion about, since I do have some very specific spiritual beliefs, yet feel that I'm open minded enough to learn from others and try to understand where they are coming from.

Since spiritual beliefs are personal, it may be difficult or uncomfortable to explain them here in text, in the open, but I'm willing to explore some kind of conversation. Let's try it. I'm curious.

(How did I miss this comment over a month ago?) (Sorry about that. But it's okay because time has no meaning with published text.)

I guess we were given some bad info, our whole conversation was recorded, so I'm glad. I just wish I stuck the phone closer to his mouth.

Well, that's how you learn to use a new medium, trial and error. You can't learn unless you try and make some errors.

Thanks for staying casual. I think the 'published' nature of the internet has trained our minds to think that everything has to be perfect for public consumption, but if you think of some of these things as tools, like a telephone, you just use them to communicate, and you don't get all worried about the polished details.

Besides, I hardly think of this as public. It's like a grain of sand on the beach, yeah it's exposed to everyone, but who's going to pick it up?

Yeah. I figgered it out eventually, but the "motor" stuck anyway.

I'd love a nice bicycle again. Something heavy enough for banging through the woods around here, but nice enough for the streets.

And nothing about desert mountains at all. Not for me, not on a bicycle.
