Writing or Publishing?

I write.

Not here so much. But maybe over the years my writing has added up.

You’d think if I wrote so much, why isn’t it all over all my social media and blogs and web sites?

Because that’s different. That’s publishing.

Writing for yourself is one thing. Writing for someone else to see is another.

So, I’m doing it now. You’re seeing this. There’s not much to it, but it’s a published piece of writing.

And if I can get just a small portion of my other, personal writing to be published, well, then, things might change.

I’d have an asset.

Assets are worth something.

But my private writing is still worth something to me, and maybe my posterity.

It’s just time to do more.

I’ll let you know where it happens. It may not be here. But I like it here. It’s probably as close as personal writing as I can be because I know that very few people read this. And that’s fine. I’m not advertising this space.
