It’s the end of the year, time for reflection.
I’ve just spent some time reading past posts on this blog. It’s kind of funny. There is definitely a pattern. And here I am following it. Because we are creatures of patterns.
Do you know the pattern? Can you see it?
Almost every post talks about it. And then talks about not wanting to talk about it. But here I am doing it again. Habits are hard to break. So, I won’t talk about it any further.
I’m still really glad I keep this blog. It’s probably the only thing I’ve kept for so long. Even if I don’t really write in it regularly. It helps me reflect, because I have thoughts in here that I was thinking in the past.
That’s what writing does. It documents your thoughts at a specific time.
So, what I’m saying about reflection is that it is best done when there is writing involved.
So here’s the two-step process:
- Write to reflect.
- Read what you write.
You’ll be a reflection master.
Oh, and one more thing.
3. Think about what you read. A lot.
That’s what I do. A lot of thinking.
It mostly comes when I write. But sometimes I can just sit and think. And that is good to do too.
What are you thinking about?
